Action oriented

Change management is not passive. The change manager must always be pushing for action, and inspiring others to take action. Remember that projects go wrong one day at a time. Therefore taking rapid action, and chasing actions hard is the best remedy.

As you spot things on your Radio, translate every item into actions. Delegate actions quickly and ensure people fully understand the importance of rapid action. Every time you speak with somebody, have their action list to hand, and follow up.

Great managers create a "lets get things done" culture, in which there is a sense of passion and fun around managing actions.
