Clearing the way

Great change managers are always looking ahead; They focus on removing the blockages in front of the project, before these become serious. Their strategy is to maximise the quality of the work available to each team member, so that the project is not delayed by ill defined tasks, waiting dependencies, unresolved issues or questionable assumptions. This is particularly important when dealing with inexperienced or less capable team members.

Spend a few minutes each day looking ahead and target actions to "clear the way".
